History

I am a current first-year Master’s student at the London School of Economics and Political Science, pursing a MSc in Human Rights and Politics.  As a first-generation half Cuban, half Colombian American, diversity and storytelling have always been a big part of my life.  Having also been a co-founder of a non-profit organization in Cozumel, Mexico, bringing awareness towards certain human rights issues, whether on the small or large scale, has always been an important part of my social justice journey. Alongside this passion for social justice and diversity, I have also has pursed projects that show the modern-day concepts of professionalism, especially regarding workplace fashion, as seen through my work as Chief Editor for the fashion magazine entitled ENCO. I have also written a book called Decoding Undergraduate College Admissions: The Essentials, which seeks to explore and provide a clearer in-depth analysis into the complexities of the college admissions process. Since its publication in December, my book has reached #1 in the New Release in High School category, as well as #31 in the College Guide category on Amazon. My goal in writing this book was to provide a comprehensible and easily accessible guide for students from all communities to be able to navigate the daunting process that is college admissions. The book presents a comprehensive compilation of thorough research and personal experiences, providing practical advice and direction to individuals embarking on the college application process. After graduation I hope to pursue a law degree in Social Justice and Human Rights, hoping to continue to help those without a voice and serve my community.
